2025 KYHS 여름 컨퍼런스(8/2) 개최 안내 > 공지사항

2025년도 KYHS 여름 컨퍼런스가 오는 8월 2일(토) 개최됩니다. KYHS 회원이라면 반드시 참가해야 하는 이 컨퍼런스는 전회원이 모여 전문가의 강연을 듣고, 그룹 토론을 한 후, 2026년도 임원을 선출하는 프로그램으로 구성되어 있습니다.

일  시: 2025년 8월 2일(토) 오전 9:00 - 오후 4:00

장  소: 서초유스센터, 스마트홀(3층, 서울특별시 서초구 반포대로57)

프로그램 

9:00 – 9:30    등록 

9:30 – 10:30   강연 이성희 (카이스트 문화기술대학원 교수)

주제: “인공지능 시대의 문화와 과학기술 융합”

10:40 – 11:40 강연 홍진호 (서울대학교 독어독문학과 교수)

                      주제: “고전을 읽는 이유 - 헤세의 <데미안>”

11:40 – 1:00   점심 식사

1:00 - 1:50      그룹 토론

(주제: How does technology contribute to the development of democracy? Under what kind of relationship do technology and democracy mutually advance?

2:00 – 2:50    발표

3:00 – 4:00    2026년도 임원 선거(President/Vice President election)

-해외 거주 회원 외에는 반드시 참가해야 합니다. 불참 회원은 다음해 임원이 될 수 없고, KYHS에서 수여하는 모든 상을 받을 수 없습니다.

-2026년도 임원 선거에는 2026년 봄학기에 10학년 또는 11학년인 회원으로서, 2025년1월 1일 이전부터 회원이었으며, KYHS 저널 Unseen 2025년 여름호에 글을 실은 사람이 후보가 될 수 있습니다.

-임원 선거 후보 등록은 참가 등록 양식에서 할 수 있습니다. 

-그룹 토론은 KYHS 회원으로 활동 후, 2025년에 Stanford, Harvard, UCLA 에 입학하는 선배들이(3명) 리드합니다.

-강연을 듣는데 도움이 되도록, 사전에 독일 작가 헤르만 헤세의 데미안을 읽을 것을 권합니다.

-참가비 9만원 (점심 식사 포함)은 7월 18일까지 납부해 주십시오. (국민은행 김정수 532001-01-264684)

The 2025 KYHS Summer Conference will be held on Saturday, August 2. All KYHS members must attend this conference, which will bring members together to listen to expert lectures, participate in group discussions, and elect the officers for the 2026 term.

Program Schedule

9:00 – 9:30 Registration

9:30 – 10:30 Lecture by Sung-Hee Lee (Professor at KAIST Graduate School of Culture Technology)
Topic: "The Convergence of Culture and Science & Technology in the Age of AI"

10:40 – 11:40 Lecture by Jin Ho Hong (Professor at Seoul National University, Department of German Language and Literature)
Topic: "Why We Read Classics – Hesse’s Demian"

11:40 – 1:00 Lunch Break

1:00 - 1:50 Group Discussion
(Topic: How does technology contribute to the development of democracy? Under what kind of relationship do technology and democracy mutually advance?)

3:00 – 4:00 2026 Executive Election (President/Vice President Election)

All members, except those residing overseas, are required to attend. Members who do not attend will not be eligible to become officers in the following year and will be ineligible for any awards granted by KYHS.

Registration details will be provided in June.

For the 2026 officer election, candidates must be members who will be in 10th or 11th grade in the spring semester of 2026, must have been members since before January 1, 2025, and must have contributed an article to the summer 2025 issue of Unseen, the KYHS journal.

The group discussion will be led by three seniors who, after being active members of KYHS, are entering Stanford, Harvard, and UCLA in 2025. 

To make the lecture more beneficial, it is recommended that members read 'Demian' by the German author Hermann Hesse in advance.
